StickyWeb Privacy Policy

StickyWeb is a Chrome extension that allows users to create and manage sticky notes directly on webpages.

2. Sticky Notes and Local Storage

StickyWeb uses Chrome's storage functionality to save the sticky notes and preferences created by the user.

The stored information may include the content of notes, their position on a webpage, and settings required to restore the notes when the user returns to a webpage.

3. Access to Webpages

StickyWeb requires access to webpages because its core functionality is to display, position, edit, and restore sticky notes directly on webpages.

This access is used only to provide the functionality of the StickyWeb extension. StickyWeb does not use webpage access to independently collect browsing history or sell user information.

4. Data Sharing

StickyWeb does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties.

StickyWeb does not use user data for advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated purposes.

5. Analytics and Tracking

StickyWeb does not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking technologies to monitor users.

6. Remote Code

StickyWeb does not download or execute remote JavaScript or other executable code. The extension's executable code is included in the extension package.

7. Data Security

Because StickyWeb stores notes locally in the user's browser and does not transmit them to our servers, StickyWeb does not maintain a remote database containing user notes.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their own browser and device.

8. Data Deletion

Users can remove their StickyWeb notes through the extension or by removing the extension and its associated browser storage.

9. Children's Privacy

StickyWeb does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other users.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
